I mean i knw that the V6 is the Main Performance Car, alot of people say that you should take it easy it's a v6 and blah blah blah. I have to say if this isn't a Performance Car, then i dunno what is.. And if i had a GT i'd get killed i'll admit it.. The Power is an addiction espesailly down here in the country.. These 25mph Cruves.. So thanks for replyign guys

As a daily driver, satisified, you betcha'! Oh sure, there are a few quirks I'd rather Ford had worked out before releasing the 05 but nothing that would make me go screaming into the night. As for speed and power, coming from yet another BORING Honda, this car is amazing. Once it gets going it's kind of hard to stop too. Case in point: was passing two minivans and a dump truck on the one and only passing zone on a backroad. Hit over 100 before realizing it and really had to stomp on the brakes to get 'er to slow down before the sharp turn up ahead....very impressive and even a bit scary!

I am even more satisfied than I expected. When I first saw the ’05 design I was hooked. It combined the best styling features of my two favorite previous Mustangs, the ’65 and 70.
I have owned a ’65, ’68 and ’70 all with V8s and modified all three to make them handle and perform to my satisfaction.
This is the finest Mustang ever made. It has a level of refinement and a list of standard features to rival many of Europe’s finest.
It took me six weeks to find this one, a plain no option Torch Red 5Speed V6. It is my blank canvas, to create my perfect daily driver and weekend warrior. I plan on running this one in slalom events and perhaps the occasional bracket race at the strip. To date and 5700mi the only change has been the purchase of an Xcal2 and a tune from BamaChips which cured the few bad habits the car had. Doug’s tune is amazing in how it improved the drivability of my car.
I will be 58 next month and want a reliable, yet fun to drive daily driver and have had my share of adrenalin rush street rats that had all the personality of a junk yard dog. I will take my pleasure in a more refined package these days.
I let my best friends son (the “why did you buy a V6” and proud owner of a tricked out ’96 Cobra one) drive mine last nite and after finding a suitably deserted road, I told him to kick it and the fun began. On the return ride he was grinning like a possum and after parking in his Dad’s drive he turned to me with a grin and simply said “wow”.
That pretty well sum’s up my feelings, WOW.
