Saleen short shift kit

What all can yall tell me about the Saleen short shift block? I read that it decreases the throw 26%, that sounds pretty good, has anybody done this? How does it compare to a whole new shifter? Is 26% noticable? What about aftermarket shifter bushing kits? I found the block and the bushings from hillbank motorsports for cheap. http://www.hillbankmotorsports.com/index.php?cPath=863
How does it shorten the throw? Im guessing that it just makes the shifter lower and more even with the shift arm, thus changing the angle of shifter arm, someone please explain this to me please, or direct me to the proper thread. thanks

Well the ones at Hillbank's are on backorder FYI.

I ordered saleen short shift block and bushings back on November 20th and had to cancel the order on Dec 21st.
When I called I was told they were still on back order and they did not know when they would be in.

I was a little dissapointed in Hillbank's customer service. You would have thought someone would have called at some point and time and informed me that they were no back order and would I like to cancel the order.

So if you do decide to go thru Hillbank's you might want to verify that they really do have them.
That was my first expierence with Hillbank's and I do not know if I would order anything else from them.
A little customer service would have gone a long way.

They may be closed this week due to the holidays.
I sent them several emails and never got a response when I was checking status of my order.
I had to call them.

I am not to impressed with their customer service.
