Do you guys think it would help any to relocate the battery to the trunk.
Isn't that an old drag racing trick. Less weight on front & more on the back.
Maybe it would help with the lack of traction problem we all seem to have.
Moroso has one for $100 (NHRA legal, comes with all cables, connectors, vent hose & I'm sure there are plenty more manufactors out there.)

That sounds a little extreme unless you plan on doing a lot of bracket racing. T-Lok would help and/or drag radials if you plan on spending a lot of time at the track.

You won't gain as much as you think.

In most older cars, SN-95 Mustangs included, the battery was way out in the very front of the car, in front of the front wheels.

On S197 the battery is located behind the front wheels near the fire wall/ So putting the battery in the trunk will be a lot of work for minimal improvement.
