does anybody know if there are any plugins that i would not have to change to premium gas?

Not sure what you mean by Plug-ins but unless you capitalize on timing with a performance flash tune you are not really going to feel any difference from the standard 87 the cars are set up for from the factory.

I have not flashed mine yet and have been running 89 octane and just now tried putting in the recommended 87 octane and I can tell there is a big difference in how the engine runs, feels and sounds. I noticed this on my first day of driving after filling up the night before.

so which is better, the 87 or 89 octane? I just purchased my first 2005 mustang last week in satin silver, I'm loving it, took it to santa barbera for the weekend and had lots of fun, people were just looking and staring and giving me compliments. I'm glad I chose the mustang over the scion tc

Hey I almost made that mistake too.. Definitly the 89 octane.. The higher the grade, the more refined it is and the cleaner/easier it burns! Premium gas only for my baby!
