Not loving the tips of the FRPP Duals
Hello, this is a bit of an odd topic, but I have the FRPP duals installed and the only thing i don't like about it is the super huge bazooka tips. I really want to replace them somehow with something a little more subtle, but would u guys advise against this? Is it as simple as having a muffler shop weld on new tips to the mufflers? Thanks for your thoughts.
I've never seen anything like that in person...it depends how good of a bead that's welded, and what kind of welding...and what precautions would be taken so the weld doesn't rust
FRPP Duals?
I would like to upgrade to dual exhaust and would like to know your reasoning for going with FRPP. How do you like your exhaust system? I've been researching my options, and I'm to the point where it's overwhelming! There are so many options! H-pipe or X-pipe, etc. What is the best way of choosing the right one? I am looking for a deep sound and not a 'ricer' high-pitched wine. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

If you could find a way to get a prochamber style midpipe, you would get a deeper tone.
As for tips, I believe the stock GT mufflers are either 3" or 3.5"... so they aren't very small. I'm guessing FRPP tips are like the ones on the Shelby GT or Bullitt edition.
