Oh, yea, we met up with Paul from Pauls High Performance and his mid 11 second V6. I need to ask again what the exact figures were. Here is a pic I got from his car in the staging lanes:

So you guys have a ton of go fast parts. Did you do any weight reduction on your cars, at least for the track? Have you set up your suspension for the 1/4? Little things like unbolting the fr sway bar all add up. Battery relocation?

I think you are making great power, but it seems like you should start looking at other ways to lower et's.

I used to be the proud owner of a 69 Dart GTS, I dropped over 350 lbs out of that car. Except for the missing seats on track day the average guy couldnt even tell. I used to have to carry jumper cables with me because I was useing a lawn tractor battery at the track and it wouldnt turn the car over.

Anyway great job, Im sure your having alot of fun!

My first run today:

RT .646
60 2.073
330 5.60
1/8 8.511
MPH 84.61
1/4 13.18
MPH 105.41

Got my launch up to 2300 2350, still need to get up to launching at 2500 so I can launch with 5lbs of boost! Practice makes perfect.

Thanks man. We are trying.... Sorry for not posting sooner, track was open late...had some late night runs to watch....some cool stuff. Street legal 8 second cars..Sick!!!! Ok, I'm testing a new launch technique, where esentially I launch with 5lbs of boost from a dig. Havent quite got it down, so I slipped accross the line and ran a 13.5....but my trap speed was 106.4. I have one last run today, I will get an update out as soon as I can. Scrming is doing great, consistently hitting his dialin time.

Oh, and Jimp was right. We havent been launching with boost, which is why we have 2.0x 60ft times. I'm working to change that.

Hey TRMN8TR!! Your not supposed to show pics of a V6 powered by a Vortech doing a sick-azz launch!! This is forbidden..

It is interesting how noone has mentioned how the PHP V6 did at Norwalk.. I know the Powerhouse V6 ran a 11.53 @ 125MPH.. How about the PHP V6? What did it run? I am surprised Rygen did not volunteer this info.. I am sure it has just been overlooked somehow..

Nice pic TRMN8TR! We probably never would have seen it if you didnt post it..

Actually, I did post what I thought it ran in my other Norwalk thread. I believe it ran a 11.46 or somewhere around there. The car was ahead of me in the staging lanes so I didn't get a chance to see it run.

Awesome pic. As for the launch, this pic was probably taken at the start of the launch, look at the slicks...lol. Its a great pic. Paul can drive the crap out of that car for sure.

Also, for all you Vortech nuts....you should give Paul a call.....he is sparying Zex on top of that SC. So, there's your TQ boost.

How much is he shooting on the ZEX? Did you get a jet size?

Also, Scrming is all set then.. He has a **** good Zex kit which he could spray atleast a 25shot to help his launch.. LOL!!

Scrming was being nice to everyone while at Norwalk.. LOL!! He could have really pounded if he wanted.. He would have atleast beat that Saleen..

Also, some guy on V6P said a Roots at 9psi is harder on our motors than a centrifigal at 12psi.. Whats your thoughs on that?

I may have to get a ZEX kit afterall... Even the smallest shot will benefit.. I'm thinking a 25 or 50shot is all that is needed.. This along with a window switch which shuts off the ZEX @ 3500RPM when the boost kicks in.. Then activate the METH from 4000RPM on up... Basically a 2 stage NOS/METH setup..

Scrming sold his Zex. As for the jet size, I am not sure. I think they are spraying in 3rd gear, I would call them.

My research found that you want to spray before boost, to get out of the hole. Definitely sounds like a kick *** setup.

I really don't know the pros/cons between roots/centri on safety and what is better for the motor.

Keep us posted on your Zex/Meth setup.
