First run for Rygen and scrming:
Rygen: 60' 2.09, 1/4 13.2
scrming: 60' 2.06, 1/4 13.4
Excellent times! Looks like they are both launching without boost, as i predicted. I'll post times as I get them, with Rygen's blessing.

WOW!! Lets see how it goes.. The Vortech at 10psi and the Powerhouse at 8.5psi.. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.. Whats nice is they are both Automatics so its a completely fair comparison..
Actually Rygen is running 3.73's, and Scrming is running 4.10's... I wonder if Scrming also had 3.73's, if Rygen would not pull on him..
I am curious to know whether or not Rygen is pulling on him in the last 1/8th.. If you can Jimp, as them if Rygen is making a strong charge at the other end of the track..
I am thinking the 3.73's are going into the last 1/8th with more TQ because of the lower RPM.. The 4.10's may be putting Scrming further ahead in the curve than Rygen with the 3.73's..
Find out what both of their trap speeds are so I can do some calculations on this..

Ok, I will ask. I'm thinking scrming's 4.10s helped him get a slightly better launch. Of course, Rygen may have had a little more wheelspin or something else entirely. That small of a difference might not even be worth discussing! LOL! I'll ask Todd for all of the times, including MPH. That will give us a better clue as to what's going on.

I dont think Scrming will out run Rygen while using his 4.10's.. His launch is much better, but he is out of steam after the 1/8th marker..
You can see in the 60' and in the trap ET than Rygen is able to do as he pleases..
Its obvious Scrming is revved to high after the 1/8th, and Rygen's TQ is dominating because of the 3.73's.. For the 4.10's to perform better, Scrming would need a smaller pulley which would give him 1 more PSI of boost after the 1/8th starting out in 4th gear.. This way the extra 10-15RWHP would compensate for atleast a tenth.. That would put him at 13.3.. Scrming actually needs atleast 2 more PSI of boost with the 4.10's to beat Rygen..
We'll see what happens.. Tell them I wish them the best and wish I was there..
My guess is, 3.73's are dominating the last 1/8th of the race.. Tell them my opinion so they can try and figure out..
We need to know Scrming approximate RPM starting in 4th, and the same for Rygen..
When they run again, have them quickly look at the tac when the car changes into 4th gear if they can.. They should be datalogging all of this..

John and I have having a blast!!!!! Let me say, pictures do not do the Mistress justice!!!! John’s car simply looks amazing in real life, and every detail is addressed. She is an absolutely beautiful car.
So, here are some pics:
Our final qualifying is at 6PM EST. So, they will probably call us to stage in about 30 minutes.
Scrming is still working on perfecting his launch with the SC, as I am still trying to find the sweet spot on launching, launching at 2200 now with no spin.

Looks like Rygen is starting out the last 1/8th in 4th @ 2795RPM @ 8.5psi, and Scrming is starting out at 2913RPM @ about roughly 2 psi WOT...
So the advantage seems to be Rygen pretty much starting with 8.5psi and Scrming needing to build his as he heads towards the traps..
I need time to think about this.. Nice work Jimp keep it coming!! I'll check it out later, I'm off to work! Pics and Videos if possible.. I know they brought their wireless laptops with internet.. LOL! Hopefully!
That Powerhouse sure is pumpin pretty good.. I wonder how Scrming would do with a 2.87in pulley.. It would definatley help him to get 4th wound up quicker.. This would keep Rygen from running away so fast.. LOL!!

Got a vid of my car, I will rip it tonight and upload it. I will give my camera to my son and have him vid Johns car and see if we can get vids. If John and I manage to run against each other, PH said they would vid tape it and I will upload that asap.

Both of us have huge tires, tall M&H tires so factor that into your math. I havent paid attention to my rpms for the whole run, more focused on the launch.

You guys are doing a great job for the 2005 V6 Mustangs!! S/C and Turbo!! Does Scrming have his 2.87in pulley with him? It only takes 15minutes to install.. Just need to use a cloth along with a Channel Lock to get the pulley off!
He will dip 12's with the 2.87in pulley!! LOL!!

Scrming would do best with a 3.45 Ratio gear and a 2.87in pulley.. This would help the last 1/8th much better...
