hey guys,

Sorry for the delays but this is the first time I could actually log onto this site. Things have been crazy trying to get on here.

As for the dynotesting it went like this....This is with the Proto-type Loki TB.

The automatic RENTAL V6 with 3500 miles on it and completely stock made 166rwhp and I forget the Tq.

It made 166 rwhp with the TB and the stock tune.

It made 174 rwhp with my 93 Performance tune and the stock TB.

It made 174 rwhp with my 93 Performance tune and the 70mm TB.

This testing was done on Velocity Mustang Performance's dyno at the FFW race in Atlanta. My take on this TB is it may help if you are supercharged or have some type of Forced Induction but for the normal N/A vehicle it is a WASTE of money, just like the one for the GT's.

There are going to be a host of companies claiming 10-12 rwhp with them, I have the numbers, I can get the Dynosheets if necessary from Justin. Spend your $300+ elsewhere....

Thanks, Doug.

Throttle Bodys on the S197 Mustangs are not really a great power adder. I have seen at most 5 RWHP from one. BUT... it does illiminate about 90% of the hesitation from the electric/gear driven TB setup ford is using now.

How can it do this with the same gear ratio in the TB and the same programming? For the $349 price tag you can get a X-2 for another $50 and gain more power along with the improved throttle responce. The plastic gears in the TB aren't flexing causing throttle lag, it's all in the PCM programming.

Hey Doug, thanks for the info. What is your take on the TB Spacers out there? Any gain with them?

Hey Doug, did U remember to flash the rented-stang's ECM back to stock config before U returned it to the local Hertz rental pool or are you going to keep em guessing?

I've always wanted to do that w/ a rental car. Glad somebody had the nerve to do this. Of course, it was probably the only way to get a bone-stock V6 stang, too.

@Doug

Any idea if it would help in a supercharged application?

Truly it would depend heavily on the type of Supercharger but either way I would say yes because you'll be able to feed more air to the engine. I think it would benifit a Roots type more then a centrifical though because it would open up the airflow to the s/c on the roots and allow more air to be compressed rather then simply opening up the flow potential after the supercharger like on a centrifical style.

I'll let you know saturday if my theory is correct either way on the roots

Later Doug.

Sweet. I have a 9 psi ProCharger, so I'm sitting on the edge of my chair waiting for your results!
