need opinions ons suspension

i wanted to know what would be the greatest benefit to the suspension of my car

i heard the Eibach Lowering Springs are really good for the v6 they only lower the car by 3/4 of a inch

but i dont want to bottom out and the fordracing ones lower the car 1.5 inches

and what kind of shocks/stuts would be best? i dont want to have to constantly adjust them either

i was considering the 2005 Mustang Tokico D-Spec 16-Way Adjustable Shocks & Struts

i still have to go over alot of bumps and stuff

i was thinking about the fordracing stut tower bar like the bullit has but read a bunch of stuff saying it does soo little it really doesnt matter
would i see a benefit from just the springs first then struts later?

thanks guys

First you have to decide how much you want to drop it. Then find springs that will give you the drop your looking for.

Eibachs are going to give you more of a drop than that. Eibach Sportlines are one of the most aggressive drops on the market. Prolines I think are right in the middle in terms of drop and I think they look great.

If you are looking at shocks/struts, the D-Specs are a great option and the way to go.

As for the strut tower bar, I wouldn't do it unless you are just going for looks. Go with sway bars or LCAs/LCA relocation brackets before you go for the STB.

the eibach pro kit is very nice. I think it lowers it an 1" and maybe 1 1/4" at the most. But the sportlikes have a tendency to continue to lower as you drive and have heard of them "shrinking" after only two years. I have asked this question in another forum but cannot find where i posted it. I prefer the eibach pro kit that is what i will get once i get 200 spare dollars!

I just installed Steeda Ultralites springs, FRPP Struts/Shocks, FRPP Front & Rear Sway Bars, and BMR Lower Control Arms. In addition, I also replaced the stock tires with 255/50/17. I had the alignment checked when the tires were installed, everything was fine, and no need for a panhard bar

Overall? Its like driving a whole new car again. I am very pleased with the results.

I was looking at the Steeda sport springs...they have a slight lowering just under an inch. And they say there is no ride quality change. '

Is it necessary to get new shocks?

I was very sceptical about strut tower braces and finally bought one on a few positive comments. I can definitly say that you will know that it`s there. Wether you use it to its full potential is another matter. Having just installed it and still negotiating winter pot holes, instead of feeling the pot hole only on the wheel thats hitting it now the whole car shutters. Telling me the front end has been tightened up. I like hanging it out on curves that say max 60mph when the speed limit has my cruise set on 75mph. In the stock condition I`ve had more than a few people give me the at what this car will do. So my next road trip is going to put it to the test.

From what I've read the FRPP springs are Eibachs. Vogland springs are good from what I have heard as well.

Dont the FRPPs have a progressive rate, and the eibachs dont? I'm not sure, but I thought i heard one of my friends mention something that the eibachs didnt.
