Every time I change the tune all the gauges move and almost every time I do the gas gauge does that & it takes awhile to reset

First of all is this an SCT or a Bama tune. I have no issues with my SCT tune

I guess I have never heard of mixing protocols like that. maybe that is the issue. good luck in solving this I know it must be frustrating.

He's not really mixing anything. The tuning device is made by SCT. But the tune was written by BAMA/AM. That's how it usually is.

Just looking at it, it looks like your fuel gauge stepper motor is failing. My temp gauge currently points at 225 degrees (or Southwest if you're not taking math or physics courses).

Is it only doing that when you have the tune loaded? Make note of what the gauge does after you shut off the car...Does the needle make it's way back down to "E" like normal?

When my temp gauge was failing (it's completely worthless now, hence the sudden use of the Torque app), it wouldn't completely reset after I turned the car off. So it would keep going farther and farther each time I drove, if that makes sense...

Where it's at right now is "full" when I kill it it drops to the other side kinda as it would when you kill the car. It usually takes a few days or so for it to correct itself but this time it just hasn't yet.

Yeah, I think the gauge motor is failing. I think you'll notice it getting worse and worse, until it only points between Southwest and West.

Yeah, mine bugs me too, but i don't really need it. So i won't replace it, until i get a completely new cluster.
