Oh come on now guys.. Ive got a manual and dont get the spike.. thats soo not fair :P

I say lets start with dyno sheets, then in the spring post our times. That way we have something to chew on before track season. Dyno's is one thing, getting the car to hook is another. Though a manual will beat an auto cause they can launch at higer RPM's. Given this, we should have two categories, auto and manual.

I'm willing to put Chris's tunes (Excessive) up against Doug and Lideo. My car is right on track with Scrmings without the pulley.

Yeah... well, my sister works with a guy who airbrushes motorcycles on the side... I'm working with him on getting my plenum cover customized... that will put me WAY ahead of ALL of you! LOL!

yeah, getting the car to hook is really the trick... all this power is useless if you just sit at the tree and spin! LOL!

Lidio takes my tune and adjusts it so the TC locks up at like 20MPH... I'm not sure whether you can do this in "Extreme Tune" or not...

Hey 05blackv6-

If you're worried about the ease of use on the SCT check this out.. ignore my southern accent and the tiny res, I think it makes my point of how easy it is... hehe

Zodiac... great viddy! I wish I had seen this before I did my first reflash... I was so nervous, hoping I wouldn't screw it up...would have put me at ease. But, it turns out, it's such a simple process.

Nice Zodiac. Can't see why SCT couldn't have thought up something like that themsleves instead of a 1 page instructional... LoL

Maybe you can forward that to their tech dept

My TQ curve is very different from the ones I saw posted here. Mine basically shoots straight up (almost 90 degree angle) to 230+ and stays there. Is that because I have a manual?

Yep, I'm pretty sure its cause you are a manual cause of the TC. Scrming would probably know for sure, he is the TQ maniac.

I have a manual and my torque curve doesnt do that.. It might have something to do with TC as already suggested. Not sure, Im not a dyno-master.

I've got some that do and some that don't... so it's not manual vs auto... I think it's dyno operator related... LOL!

here's one that's kind of show's both..

Did someone say Torque!!! LOL!

Do you know if the TC for the auto has a TCC (tq converter clutch)?

If you mean an electronic clutch, then yes... the torque convertor will "lock up" at a given MPH... and is controlled by the tune..
