Mods for lowering springs

I've got lowering springs and ford performance bumpstops on the way.Supposed to be 2" rear and 1 3/8" front.Since rear is 3/4" higher than front from factory, should be a mere 1/8" lower in front afterwards, compared to rear

If my pinion angle ends up too far off, will I need adjustable lower control arms,or adj uppers,or lower arm relocation brackets,or some combination of the 3?Or will I just have to wait till the springs are installed to know what I'll need,if anything?

Also, how do I measure the pinion angle to find out if it's too far out of spec?

I realize I also may need an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear end after lowering

The Stang's my daily driver in decent weather, but I only normally do a max of about 100 miles a week.I'm not too concerned with race car cornering,or smooth ride.I just want to spend the least $$ possible as long as it's not unsafe to drive

Since I imagine the majority of people that lower are driving GT's,should I also put up this thread in the GT section,or is that frowned upon here?I know a lot of forums don't like you putting the same thread in more than 1 place

In case you can't tell, this'll be my first experience with lowering a car,so all I know is what I've read about

I lowered my old 14 v6 with sr springs and had an adjustable pan hard bar. Put around 80,000 on that set up with no issues, no premature wear on tires or suspension components. I drove it around 100 miles a day to work.

Wow,so the only thing you had to add was the adj panhard bar then? I assume you at least had to get a new alignment after lowering?

I just did almost the same thing to my 14gt and I'm going to get the alignment checked. Its drives straight no pulling or noises just a peace of mind. Got a fresh set of BF comps so cheap insurance since every car is different.

Cool.It seems like from what I've read some didn't need anything at all done, and others had to replace all kinds of parts

Just wondering, did your '14 sit a lot higher in back from the factory like the '05-'09's do?Mine measures 3/4" higher in back, and it looks positively horrible because of it

this is my old 14 v6. SR springs. I had the ford racing "p" springs but removed them due to the front sitting a tad higher. The wheel gap looks bigger in the pics due to the shadow on the top of the tires. 1.5 drop

In 2013 ... I just cut a full coil plus 1 inch of wire (the width of my marker tape) off the top of the rear springs, did what I wanted done. I checked the panhard or track bar too, and laterI added some old modified T-bird isolators to them. Sometime or other I trimmed the bump stops just a little as I recall. I have added some striping since then, but it's the same car. Far as I know, never been on an alignment rack since new.
