only thing making me choose the JBA's over the MAC's is the problems i've heard w/ their exhaust and costomer support.

I'm quite sure the JBA's are an excellent product! Dont feel guilty, because us tight wads are picking on them! LOL!! Some of us have wives which are less understanding to upgrades.. We have to work the system as best we can..

LOL, guess i'm lucky to be 25 and single at the moment. On a side note, my dad had stopped by our mechanic today and mentioned me comming in to have headers put on. The mechanic said he could do it no problem, but stressed that I make sure it dosn't mess up the warrenty. I see no real issue w/ anything, how about you guys?

It wont effect the warranty.. On my 93 Cobra, I had to take it in and get the alternator changed, because at the time my 1400 WATT stereo system killed it..
I had my headers in place, and nothing was said..
Most guys misunderstand business.. Dealers who reject to fix cars with upgrades, lose money because they cant bill Ford for warranty work, and they **** off customers..
So completely ignore people who threaten you with voiding your warranty..

Long tube headers would kill your entire engine warranty as they remove the cats. Sorry, just how it works with the dealership. Has to do with emissions standards, even if you arent tested where you live.

I didnt see a mention of Longtube headers.. Thus, I will not be penalized for going out of bounds.. LOL!!
Also, I would agree with this on principle, however I am sure anyone going to longtube headers on a 2005 Mustang, would find a way to do it, leaving the cats somewhere within the system..

There are many longtubes that have built in cat's, maybe we may get lucky and get one of these made for our V6, unless the Mac's aready have it, then we are gold.

I myself would love to see a dyno sheet of the setup, without a tune in place.. Just to see the comparison at a stock level.. I can only imagine how good this setup would sound.. I am think something extremely deep at idle.

SSM has the Longtube HeaderKit for our car, and they say it makes more power than the stock header setup.. They really like the stock headers, but would recommend the MAC LT with a Prochamber for our SOHC 4.0..

I'm very curious about the sound of the prochamber as well. I will have to look at these long tube headers. Thanks for the info.

At a price of $995 the entire kit is quite expensive.. However, all I would like to have is the Headers and the Pro-Chamber..
I am going to look into getting a Pro-Chamber itself installed..
