Holes in ma grill...

I got the official Ford Pony Grill kit--and installed it--(the instructions were in French......hmmmmm.....) After standing back and admiring my work, I noticed three holes in the bottom insert of the bumper--the middle one is covered by the front license plate, but the two rectangular holes on the right and left are an opening that looks like it leaves the transmission cooler vulnerable----it almost looks like there should be sport lights there---I haven't noticed these holes or lights in any other '05 Ponies----I'm thinking about inserting a black mesh is there---am I missing something?

Nope, you aren't missing anything, that's the way all the Pony lower grill parts are made.

Maybe a black mesh insert if you concerned about the openings ?
