Help: SCT-x3 Tuning...V6 Automatic help

I tried this thread a while back but didn't get any responses. I have an 07 V6 with an automatic and I have a SCT Tuner from americanmuscle along with the Steeda CAI.

I am wondering what are the best things to change in the program to maximize the performance of my car. I know I can change to 93 octane. But, what else? I know there is spark changes and shift pressure, etc. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance.

I have the disc for my live etc never had to use it ? I love the three tunes I have so never ventured out of them , I suppose I could but then I'm sure I'd ruin a good thing, so until I or if I take the time to understand it I will let Doug do my tunes. I'm too scared !

i would not recommend you changing perimeters to your engine without knowing what you are doing. you could cause some serious damage. call american muscle and buy a great tune like rampant said.

I for one would just use tunes designed for your car ! if after a while you think you need a change let the pro do it. And never forget to put back to stock before taking your car in for service incase !!! & before uploading make sure the stategy number matched , incase some dip stick reflassed you ECM .

+1

I would not change a thing without the input from BAMA I could call them directly and let them know what you want to change and them let them build a new tune or modify one you have. But I'm pretty sure you already have the best tune you can get without having a custom dyno tune done.

On a side note after I cleaned my throttle body any of my tunes perform so much more so , I'm like a kid with a new toy that can't afford the rubber if I do it !
