if your OD light blinks DON'T IGNORE IT, even if it goes off when the car is shut off

i just got my car back from the dealer tonight

i dropped it off tuesday, wasnt shifting hard, clanking, or anything, and the OD light hasnt blinked since the previous week (when i scheduled the appt)

dealer spent all day tuesday with it, could not get it to do anything, the computer said it was a problem with the tourqe converter

he went home that night, on wednesday he said he talked to one of the head tranny guys at ford, they said drop the tranny and DO NOT take it apart, that is why i got a new tranny

evidently there have been a few (i mean like 2 or 3 according to the dealer) out of all the mustangs built, that had this problem, so the dealers usually replace the tourqe converter, evidently they are coming apart as the dealer called it

ford has heard of all these cases and didnt have a complete tranny to disassemble themselves...haha until now,

my sacrifice of my tranny will hopefully improve the auto tranny, it is going to ford to have it taken apart...kinda cool i guess

oh and by the way, he said he drained the tranny fluid...FULL OF METAL

mods, i know this should be in tech, but i wanted to get the word out
