Today I bought a set of GT Premium wheels and tire takeoffs from a Ford dealer - "He made me an offer I couldn't refuse" and I couldn't help myself. I thought these wheels came with the Ford oval on the center cap, but mine have the Pony Tri Bar, which I like better. Was there a production change or am I only imagining the wheels had the oval?
Also since I’m replacing my P215/65/R16s with P235/55ZR 17s, will I need to make any changes with my SCT to correct the speedometer or is it enough change to make a difference?

The 2006's wheels come with the tri-bar pony center caps, the 2005's came with the ford oval. As for the tire size, you shouldnt have to change anything on the sct. The tire size will be slightly larger, 27.18in from the 27.0in stock tires. If you can change the sct at such a small incrimental change than it couldnt hurt. Otherwise, it will be perfectly fine if you dont change it.

I had them swapped out today and I love the look. Now if anyone wants a set of 16" wheels with the spinners I'll let them go cheap!
