OK... this article is about a cai shootout for the GT, but it mentions the V6 quite a bit, since several manufacturer's also produce or will be producing intakes for our beloved 4.0L's. It gives each intake a subjective score, including fit and finish, durability, ease of installation, etc and includes gains for each unit. I think it's a great source to help us six-bangers choose a manufacturer. A few interesting notes, a couple times the article mentions the importance of a heat shield and that plastic inlet tubes have been known to melt under hot weather conditions.

60/40 w/ the nod towards the 6's. This is from Fords numerous press releases/factory discussions on the new model. Ford only expected approx 40% to ordered as GT. Possibly a little higher (perhaps 55/45) given the popularity of the GT as 'new model' but not by much.
