Gas... or Gas?
I've heard several different rumors, most of which seem to contradict each other. Some people say I should alternate the brands of gas I use to put in my car so that the different detergents will wash the others out, keeping the engine cleaner. Others tell me I should stick with the same brand of gas so that the different detergents don't mix and cause build-up.
I'm thinking it may not matter as long as their good quality gasoline and even if it does, maybe the build-up is just negligible and doesn't effect the engine. Even if it is negligible I still like to do what I can to keep the car in the best condition possible. Does anyone know the answer to this? (Hard facts backing up claims is what Im lookin' for)

I don't have any hard facts, but gas from different stations will not clash and have any ill effects on your engine. The different gas brands all basically use the same additives, just in different amounts. The Top Tier gas is the best you can get as far as cleaning abilities (www.toptiergas.com ) The rest will be fine, and you should just stick with a name brand, not the bargain stuff since it contains the least cleaning additives.
