I am going to my Ford dealer tomorrow to order the factory parts I need to make custom duals. So far on my list I have the drivers side (left) 2.5 inch exhaust pipe. I also know I need hangers for my mufflers.

How do I order the hangers for my mufflers? Do I just tell them exactly what they are or what? Anybody know?

Do I need hangers for my exhaust pipe itself?

Does this sound like all I need to order from Ford?

(I know I still need an x-pipe)

Just tell them you need the two muffler hangers and the left side pipe. You don't need pipe hangers, and you can salvage the extra bolts you need for the hangers from the extra V6 muffler mount, and the harmonic damper attached to the V6 muffler.

One of these dual exhaust threads in the V6 Tech section has the PDF files for both the V6 and GT exhausts with diagrams and part numbers.

It is ALWAYS a good idea to have that kind of info when dealing with parts counter staff.

I agree. I went to order my drivers side GT pipe and the guy originally had the passenger side one pulled up until I showed him the diagram and he then put the right one in.
By the way, anyone know where that thread is, I would like to print them up again.
