I am getting new custom v6 true duals, for my x-pipe do I really need the high-flow cats?

Is it really going to make that big of a difference over me just using the stock cats with an x-pipe?

I kept my stock cats---cheaper, and they seem to work fine with the dual GT takeoffs + Xpipe....

Has anyone even made high-flow cats for our 4.0L's?

Need? Nope.

I just had the x-pipe/gt take-off combo installed on mine. Factory cats seem to be doin' just fine.

I think 5.0 magazine tired some x-pipes with high flow cats on a GT. I think they made 1 or 2 HP extra. Not worth the money if you could find them.

Headers made a really nice, very noticeable difference, though I haven't had a tune yet.. SCT or dyno. I could feel a difference in torque right away and... the sound. I first fired 'er up and it actually suprised me! Much louder with quicker, harder revs. I'll get a tune once I get an intake... hopefully in the next month or so.

I have jba's y-pipe dual exhaust (the true duals came out after I had already placed my order, go figure). Still, I'm really pleased with them. Without some major power adders, I'm not sure true duals would be that much of a difference. Both versions are supposed to sound very similar, according to jba.
