Was at Hot Import Nights with stangpede this weekend in San Mateo and we hard to run some gas off to get my car into the show. Well it got really hot and it actually warped the heat shield that the intake sits on. Would i be able to use the C&L heatshield on my JLT intake? i have always liked how it seals up againts the hood and how the intake has its own hold to sit in. but will it fit?

We offer a replacement heatshield. It's aluminum, better sealing, and doesn't rattle.

I did exactly what you're considering. I bought the C&L piece and installed it with my JLT II - fits just fine, even with the JET TB spacer installed. It would probably fit even better without the spacer! The C&L shield is made of plastic and includes the fat rubber tubing at the top that squishes up to the hood to seal better. Mounts with the same single bolt in the stock location. Price was $29 plus shipping. I'll do a picture later in the week when time permits.
