call one of the vendors here at TMS they will steer you in the right direction. I went with the jlt intake it was a few bucks less and was darn close to the hp of the c&l intake. Brenspeed, american muscle but there are other tuners running around here. Have fun

The can of worms has been open!! JK
The Steeda CAI has seen some great gains with the tune. We have shown gains of upto 44HP on the dyno.
What makes our CAI different from the competition is that we use a stainless steel heat shield with a durable rubber gasket to seal the shield against the vehicle’s hood. What does that mean?? It means that it keeps the hot air from the engine from entering the CAI.
Some other companies use a hard plastic tube as opposed to stainless steel that can crack under intense heat. If you are looking for the cheapest priced CAI than we can't help you. If you are looking for a durable, great quality intake that has some great gains then give us a call.
Regardless what you choose the car will be a great ride!
Thanks
TJ

Not on hand but I just noticed that this was posted under the V6 forum, so those gains were for the 5.0 .... I need to lay off the MT. Dew.
Here are the gains with the V6 that we tested with our CAI/Tune- we have seen utpo 20hp and 30ft/lbs of torque on some Mustangs.

OP keep in mind that its not just hp and tq you gain. Its your shifting/shift points, firmness of shifts and how it pulls inbetween those shifts the jump off the line. Its a whole new experence. Wow $760$ for the intake and tuner, is it less evpensive for a 05 - 09 v6??

Hey Glen,
We have a big Black Friday sale going on so this will be a little bit cheaper, but the link that you posted for the JLT intake still requires a tune. Our CAI is a little bit more expensive because of the added benefits that we have provide including a supplied rubber trim to seal it against the hood & fender to keep the hot air isolated from the filter. The JLT does not seal to provide this added benefit.
Check out our black Friday sale and get 20 percent off Steeda manufactured products.
Have a great holiday!!
