I am stoked!! I'd love to ditch the clunky stock shifter and put a B&M in there. Weigh in on the above thread if you're interested. I don't think there's any difference between the GT and V6 on the shifter and linkage.

LOL! Well they're talking about adapting the Quicksilver design right now, so it would probably look similar to the current Quicksilver console design for Camaro/ Firebird (see below). But they'll have to come up with an overdrive button of some sort. I'd love to see a T-handle with a button in the end for OD. Some people have also stated that they'd like to see a pistol grip, that would be cool too.

Ok, it would have to look a little better than that!

I'll second that....I would be interested in getting that stock shifter out of the car, the more you use it the worse it looks. But again, it would have to look better than that current offering for those "other" brands...

Then by all means make your opinion known in the other thread FYI, here are all the street shifter designs they currently have:

The B&M guy mentioned adapting the Quicksilver in the other thread, but I don't think anything is cast in stone at this point. The Quicksilver is currently offered for Fords as well, but not in the console version I posted above. I doubt it would be all chrome like the above pic as almost everyone has stated they would like something that complements the brushed aluminum interior trim.
