aluminum driveshaft & safety loop
aluminum driveshaft & safety loop
Hi all. I recently had installed a 4" aluminum driveshaft on my '06 4.0 auto
this was to combat my stock driveshaft that was vibrating like crzy after a rear end gear change
ok, so drivehaft is 4" Shaftmaster unit and I'm quite pleased with it
The safety loop is another issue. I got one from BMR and it seems its too tight around shaft so does not allow for any travel and as such causes rubbing / grinding. have tried (with tech) to adjust loop but still rubs.
what loop are you guys with aluminum shafts using? any tips appreciated.

No Tips...Questions
Why do you need a loop, are you supercharged?
Was everything marked during the gear swap and put back in the same place?
.
Did you try other orientations for the stock driveshaft before you gave up?
I am curious if one was better than another.
