It's been raining horribly here so when I picked up my car from the muffler shop this afternoon I barely even got a chance to look at it. I just bought a GT bumper online from casco, and installed it. Brought my car to the muffler shop to get dual exhaust put in and the left muffler is about 1/4ths inch short from the right. Is this acceptable for a muffler shop? It just annoys me, because I can tell the difference. The place was closed by the time I got home, and are not open on saturday or sunday. So I will have to go back monday if they would even change it.

You paid for them to do it right. If it's bad enough to see, it's bad enough to ask them to fix it.

Welcome to my he11, how hard can it be to find a muffler shop that does it right the first time? I'm taking my car to a second shop to reinstall my new system. I hope we both have better luck.

Yep, this happened to me too!!! I went through two exhaust shops till I found one that could do it right. Turned out to be a guy who does custom work on old muscle cars. He made a $30 custom hanger on the driver side for me, turned the pipes slightly and in 40 minutes it was fixed.

Call your local mustang club and get a refferal, that is what I did.

Great advice! That's just what I did. I called the guys in the new Central Oregon Mustang Club and got a great referral to a guy that does all their work. I wish I had known about them sooner.
