Hi, new here, am BMW owner but am huge fan of new Mustang.

I have been closely following the discussion about the hesitation on acceleration that some people have been experiencing, and, it seems, it appears that all those cars have traction control, is that right?

Well, my experience with my 328i is that it does the exact same thing with TC on, even at speed on the highway, with sudden hard acceleration, like from 50mph-up, it will suddenly bog down, then wake up and take off really quick, especially if its wet. If I turn it off, it goes away. Seems like its really doing what its programed to, but also might be too sensitive to anticipated wheelspin.

I am pretty sure this is what you are experiencing, as the 328 and the Mustang do have rear-wheel drive and motors giving nice torque response at low rpm in common.

It is also very dependent on type of tire it seems, as this response became quite pronounced after I switched to pure summer-only performance tires this year., after 3 years of a less performance-oriented touring tire.

Thought this might give people something to think about.
