I prefer the stock sound..... The rest are simply too loud for my taste...
I absolutely LOVE the stock sound, I wish I could get exactly the stock type of rumble and sound, but louder. Does this make any sense? What I'm saying is I wouldn't want the actual sound to alter, just I'd like it to be the stock sound but actually louder...

I think the CORSA are the best kept secret for the 05 Mustang. Worth every dollar I spent on them.

try listening to magnaflows. i think they are close to the stock sound amongst aftermarket exhausts.

Dan,
I agree with you and Boomer. I have mine on order with Ninosport but they are telling 4/6 week on delivery. I have listened to hundreds of sound clips and heard my 1st Borla in person 2 weekends ago and am in total agreement with you about how awesome they are. But NOBODY has them!!!!!!!!!!! Chris, Did you pull any of those strings for me. I am having withdraws while I am waiting!!!! GEEZ!!!!
I vote for Borla STING-TYPE or what ever they are called. P.S. DAN, whats your address up there in Canada land?????? And do you park inside or outside????

JBA! For as long as I have owned my car the mod that has more people asking me about this is the one. The first thing they say is "I didn't know these 05's were running 12's" then they want to know what exhaust is on it because they love how it sounds. These are gratifying things for sure but the most important thing is to only buy an exhaust that you have heard IN PERSON and like or you might be blowing $$$$$ and telling yourself that is really what you wanted only because other people voted it as the best sounding exhaust. Your opinion matters, don't let other people's opinion dictate your mod list so heavily. For the record, I ordered my exhaust without even hearing it first, thank god my wife and I love it or I would be lecturing myself.

My name is Dan. I live just north of Toronto, Ontario. I park outside. I also like girls with brains as well as beauty.

I know what you mean, but 4/6 weeks isn't that long to wait to make sure you get the exhaust you like.

Both fit. The axle backs are just mufflers and replace the stock exhaust that is after the axle, hence the name. Cat backs replace everything from the cats back. If you're looking for horsepower gains then go cat back. If you just want sound, then axle backs. Cat backs do change the sound too though.

I voted flowmaster. Sound better than stock, without being too loud, and thanks to a TMS member, great price.
