Xcal2 Rev limiters ???

I just ordered my xcal2 and jlt combo from Doug last week...Waiting to be shipped. I sent Doug many messages and I thought before bugging him again I will ask you professionals...

I ordered the highly talked about 91 and 93 Race tunes...I sent Doug many messages and forgot to ask about the rev limiters. I mentioned to remove the speed limiters and forgot about the rev limiters.

Can you personally raise or remove them yourself? Or, does Doug have to do that?

What do you guys have it set at? Raised or removed?

I hit the limiter with the stock tune several times and I thought I broke something until I realized what happened.

Thank you for your input...

Thanks Stoenr...

I was thinking of setting them higher than stock. 6500 seems about right. I first thought of removing them but, that may not be a good thing. I hit the limiter twice on the stock. I believe stock is 6250 or something. I am sure a few hundred would be about right.

At 6250, I kept hitting it just before I felt I wanted to shift when winding it out.
At 6500, I almost never hit it.
