X Pipe

I have a 05 gt auto, looking for a offroad x pipe with no drone or trumpeting.I have stock mufflers on but have SLP LM all so. Looking at MAK or UPR for X pipe, looking for HELP. THANK YOU ALL

IMO, if you have an O/R X and LMs, you will get trumpeting... period.

I will sell you mY MAK for $50 plus shipping.I have long tube Headers now and use a diferant X-pipe.

Do a search for Bassini. There are a few subjects running on this right now.

and yes, it gonna be nasty loud with the SLP.

I just did the search and if you just get 2hp from the X over the H pipe for get it.

there has been exhaust shootouts in the mags, dyno charts on the various forums, etc. and it is averaging 8 - 12 hp. cats on takes some of this away. most of it is in the response and in the torque. depends on what one wants out of it - free flow exhaust, better sound and a modest hp gain, go for it, if not, then i would consider alternative ways to make hp gains.

I was just going to say that Jordan. That is going to be insane. X pipes are LOUD. H are deep.

I hope you know what your in for with that Combo.
