I have been battling with attempting to tune my car with the X-calibrator from SCT for the past 2 months, mind you the holidays and my car being in the paint shop for three weeks has lengthened my time away from the car. I have yet to actually have my car programmed or even download the stock tune to the X-calibrator even when following the instructions to a "T." I have been in touch with who I purchased the unit from and SCT and they have tried to help in any manner possible but we have come to a point where they have asked me to send in my FMU from my car in overnight mail....Yikes! I will be pulling the computer tomorrow and hopefully will have it back to install for next weekend. Just wanted to post this problem to help anyone having difficulties with the X-calibrator as I so far believe that I am the only 05 Mustang owner that has had this trouble. My FMU code is CDC2. Anyone else have unlock failure with their SCT? :bang:

 

I have same FMU code. My problem for two months was getting the jackazz (from Dyno Labs, hint hint) to send it to me.

I contacted SCT and Dave was more than helpful in finding me a reputable dealer. The new guys...da-da-da-da...
