Will 5.0 effect SC prices for 2005-10

With the new 5.0 coming out - do you think that the SC prices for the 2005-10 GTs will come down?

Just thinking out loud here and wondering what others think.

I wouldn't mind seeing SC get down to the low 4k range + install. Or something like that.

Let me know what you guys think.

If you're talking about the price of superchargers, don't count on it.

Look at prices of SN95 and New Edge cars. For a big kit with everything you need, you're still paying a lot of money.

New factory models don't have a lot of pull on aftermarket pricing.

If you are a aftermarket vendor why would you decrease prices. You may even want to increase them, because everyone with the 05-10 are going to at least want to match the stock hp of the 11'. The market increases and the prices go up. I would like to see them come down though!

I think they will, just not right away. It would be nice to get a decent twinscrew for less than 5k though...

I'm looking twin-screw and I should have mentioned it in my post. I don't need a ton of power. Just looking for around 420 to the rear wheels. I would think that the Saleen package from Brenspeed would take care of that.

Getting a little off-topic...what about gauges. I know they help. But are they a necesity?

Considering the price of a new engine if something starts going afoul, They'd be high on my list.
