I am looking to buy a Zex nitrous system for the 05, has anyone done some cost research? Who has the best deal, has anyone tried to just buy the computer module? I already have several bottles, jets, lines, switches. Thanks for your help.

George, thanks for the link! That price is great, I was expecting to pay 7 bills. When will you have it installed, test results? I am too anxious to even wait for the shipping to know. I have seen Justin Bircham's in person run 11's but that is an all out race car if you could see it up close.

Is his car gutted with one seat and roll bars? I thought he ran in the factory trim class. He would have to have almost all stock trim in the car. I guess I'm answering my own question.

Justin's car has Kirkey seats, not the factory ones let alone electric ones.

Stupid question-------- do you have to stop and change the tune on these 05s before you open the bottle and use the NO2 or do you run the tune all the time with retarded timing and rich mixture? or do you just run your regular tune and the NO2 kit provides all the extra fuel and retards the timeing?

Standard High Performance for street use (no bottle)
High Performance for strip (all out timing retards and colder plugs for use with the bottle)
Performance for street/strip (best of both worlds so you can run the bottle on the street for those rare WOT situations - probably very hard to tune)
I'll probably do 2 tunes unless I can have the 3rd worked on without too much trouble.

Where are you finding colder plugs? I was informed by Procharger and a few other aftermarket companies that there are none in production yet. The only plugs for the 05 that exist are the factory ones and they are pricey even without bieng colder.

It's going to be a while before I install the Zex Kit. My rear Bogarts showed up yesterday. The fronts showed up today. I need to replace all the wheel studs and relocate the rear swaybar mounts and make some baseline runs. After that I need to install my TCI converter and make some test runs. After that I'll install my Hooker Super Comp's and off road X-pipe and make some test runs. After all that The Zex kit gets installed.

Please report back details as you go. I for one am particularly interested in the details for the changes you have to make for the Bogarts. Before/after pictures would be awesome (hint, hint). I'm also very curious about the TCI converter swap. What is the stall of the stock vs. the TCI? And how "streetable" is the TCI?
