The whipple numbers are even stronger at 10 psi. And the big mystery is how long will these stock bottom ends hold together. The only drawback I really see to the Saleen is the fact that thier torque Numbers rarely match or exceed thier HP numbers. Which is odd given they are all twin-screw 'chargers and the Saleen has the long intake runners. If any of you tuner Gurus out there have an answer I'd love to know why.

does it have anything to do with how it's cooled? I know that things like fuel delivery and pressure are going to play a role in the numbers. Plus.... maybe since Saleen is an auto manufacturer, as opposed to a "tuner," they have different rules they have to play by, and they may not have tuned the PCM the same way. .... just a thought...
but like you.... I don't know for sure.

I want one of these. I can say It looks good enough for me if I can bolt it on and reflash the computer and get 425 RWHP!!!!! I just wonder how long the bottom end will hold up. I drive 100+ miles a day and wonder what the durrability is. I already have 32,750 miles on my motor and I drive it hard. So that leaves me to wonder how solid it is.

You REALLY care that much about the looks? If I had a supercharger, I would worry less about how its gonna look (ON THE INSIDE OF THE HOOD, BTW) and start thinking about which vette im gonna run with...but that just may be me.

Any vette you want, so long as it isn't a new z06! 11.5 quarter mile stock...wow!

Yep, that is right. The Saleen is only 4psi stock, but can be changed with just a change of the pulley. That should put you at upwards of 380RWHP with a good tune. Several guys are running 10psi without a problem and getting 450+ RWHP.

I don't know much about the Roush. I believe it is still the old Eaton/ roots type blower. I'm definitely buying a twin screw.
