Where is the oil pressure sending unit?

Yep - now, some people will not recommend you do that since it makes the factory "gauge" completely useless. Wait, it's useless in the first place [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif[/img] Seriously, some people might think the computer might freak out. If you simply cut the wire and start the car, then yes, you will get a "low oil pressure" warning on the dash. And grounding the wire most definitely keeps the "gauge" from functioning at all. It merely keeps the needle at the same spot when the engine is running. I've had zero issues, but again, some people prefer to use a t-fitting. the needle always stays in the same spot anyway
I drilled my water pressure sending unit today but didn't have enough time to finish it. I did mount my Cobalt gauges up though, but they aren't hooked up. I have to figure out how to get the wires through the firewall.
The Speed of Sound gauge pillar is AWESOME. I'll have a pic tomorrow of it.

Getting the wires through the firewall and into the engine bay is very easy. See this thread from when I put mine in. If you're running electric gauges you won't have to drill a single hole [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumb.gif[/img]
