Any suggestions of the cheapest place to buy mac mufflers. On a side note, do you think if i paint the muffler body black, will they lose all their value?

As for painting the muffler black, I wouldn't... not because of value but because it is a stainless steel surface that has a polish to it. It would look good under a black car as you only see a small part of it from the rear and you see the stainless pipe leading into the muffler from the wheel well.
