HOTLAP, I have NO idea if it has a rev limiter or now. I bet it is more to protect driveline parts (driveshaft, diff, axles, etc) than the tranny. Of course, I bet that kind of shock load COULD twist a few important things around inside the tranny too!
I sure hope so! And a nice video to boot! That will either be the nastiest burnout in all of history or a very nice video of a car exploding as various parts decide to do something different...
So, anyone that wants to try this, PLEASE make sure you have a buddy along with a GOOD video camera shooting the whole thing. A dumb buddy is best as he will be more inclinded to stand close to the car to get a "good shot".
