What's the difference from vortech highout put and normal?

Hi guys I wanted to know what the difference was between vortech's highout put supercharger and the normal system? What makes these two system different? Does it have different fuel injectors and other compoents? If i purchased the normal system, would I be able to upgrade to the hìghout system or be able to further increase my hp? Also, does the vortech kits come with an intercooler? What is the turner kit that they have on their website, is that a supercharger of some sort? Thanks guys.

I believe the H.O. has the intercooler with it. And yes if you buy the Normal kit you can upgrade later on.

Tuner kit come's with everything but injectors, tuner, fuel pump and mass air housing. The high output kit comes with everything, including a water to air cooler and a slightly smaller pulley. I went with a tuner kit and added the supporting mods.

I went with the base kit, slightly tweaked from Brenspeed. I since have upgraded, but instead of using the Vortech water-based intercooler I decided to add the Paxton air-based intercooler.

I would suggest contacting Brenspeed and asking them what their thoughts are.... www.brenspeed.com

Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I'm planning on getting the standard kit but I want to get the intercooler eventually. Does the intercooler cost $1800 separate? Is this the intercooler that i'm thinking about http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...p=19&cat_key=3

or is that the wrong intercooler? Can you post me a link of the intercooler that I will have to buy? The price of the intercooler by itself cost a lot. Is it better to just get the H.O kit? IS there is problem going without the intercooler kit. I'm trying to be cheap as possible hehe.

Yes that is the intercooler you would have to buy to upgrade and yes it will cost you around $1800 to do it later.

For what it's worth, I ran the base kit sans cooler for 6 months with no problem, 3 months of that time being in Indiana +90 degree heat and humidity. I upgraded by adding the cooler because I wanted:

1) peace of mind

2) ability to add more boost
