Not to be contradictory, but (Don I think you know me well enought to know when I'm making a point vice arguing for the sake of arguing) the heads only provided a 28 HP + 6 ft/lb gain....and that was on a car with an X-pipe, Pulleys, CMRC delete, and axle backs. They didn't hit the 42HP/37TQ until they added Long tubes. My point is that guys shouldn't go out and buy these heads expecting these gains on an otherwise stock mustang.

But I do have an X-pipe, CMRC delete (aka intercooler), axlebacks, LTs and that little extra pulley up on top.

But in general, I agree. People should do a lot of the other mods before they go with heads like this (even the Stage 1's). There are plenty of other things that will restrict airflow that should be addressed before spending coin on P&P heads. In my case, it started looking like the stock heads would be the bottleneck for flow. So, I just decided now was the right time to get those Stage 2 bad boys. If I can get 40-50hp (or more) out of them, it will be worth it to me.

I have a feeling that you will be pleasantly suprised. With the KB forcing air through I imagine your combo should be sick.

I've pretty much decided I'm going to stick with 8psi (at least to start), and see if I can get into the mid-11s.
