What would you spend on a carbon fiber driveshaft?

Please be realistic!
Given, this is carbon fiber with all the necessary hardware to install. Good upto 1000 hp. Given, you'll spend $800-$900 for an aluminum single piece, depending on the type of yolks desired. This is not to say that the winning number will be the price. This will just give me info to talk with BMR about. They may just tell me to pound sand for all I know.
The professional installation is due to setting the pinion gear back to where you currently have it. I can't imagine it costing that much to do. They don't have to tear into the rearend. Just measure it's current depth, install the yolk and set it to the previous measurement.

Well, in all reality your completely right about the cost versus aluminum. I would imagine in under a year the prices for both will drop by a fair amount.
I will vote for the 800, its worth every penny for sure, but 1100 is steep, competition wont be far behind, but we all tend to run out of patience
Thanks for doing this, maybe there's a few out there willing to purchase, Im game. Im sure BMR will consider it pending interest. Its on my Christmas list, maybe that will happen sooner.
No butt kissing here..but I plan to only add BMR products on my STG1...over time that is

I personally like the current DS. With the carrier bearing setup up like it is the Transmission should not see any of the thrust loads from the suspension travel. We all know how much these cars squat when lanuched hard. The weight savings would be nice or how about a half shaft?
