I've been running 4.10s and a KB for almost 30K miles. Perfect combo IMO.

+1, I have 4.10s and just made 501 to the tires last weekend...... I agree with Don, BUT I will add (which he didn't mention) that you need a serious tire if you plan to hook up at WOT in the first couple of gears. In fact, I believe Don runs a drag radial as his daily and I may end up doing the same, but likely I will pully up first to lower my power output as I'm on a stock short block- and 501 is really pushing it IMO.
