Yeah definitely more a fan of the hurst shifter. But that's just the styling and looks of it. Muscledom, can you have ball style like the hurst on the pro 5.0 series?

You can literally have whatever style you want. You could even get a hurst stick and ball and bolt it on the pro 5.0. I think that's kinda queer personally, if it was me I'd try to find a hurst clone without hurst stamped on it.

Yeah my next thing will be the shifter. Just gotta look into both an see whats better.

Side note. Been a week with my cai an I still cannot keep my foot off the gas pedal. Always gunning it through town. its bad lol power and sound of the car just get me. gas mileage is still at 20 though! So here's to hoping for improved gas mileage. Love this stuff.

Yea after a while you'll start bragging about how poor your gas milage is lol. I'm trying to get mine down to single digit highway haha

Hi tu3218,

Before spending all that money, do yourself a favor, go buy the 5.0 Mustang & Super Ford October issue. Inside there is a full bolt-on battle. This article will show you the real HP & TQ gain. You'll see in reality there is not that much of a difference. For example your throttle body only gives you 2.05 HP after installing a CAI ( long way from your 20-25hp ) . In your case for a 2005 here it is. Adding all of the above perf mods no labor incl $1700.00, the increased is 25.88 HP and 24.71 TQ.

Baseline at 5,500 rpm HP; 285.86 TQ; 272.98
Add: CAI= hp;288.04 tq;275.06
TB= hp;290.09 tq;277.02
After-cat= hp;294.69 tq;281.41
X-Pipe= hp;306.65 tq;292.84
Tune= hp;311.74 tq;397.69

Real test on a dyno done by professional don't lie, horsepaper by vendor do
