Would anybody recommend me to change the automatic trans for a manual one? Does the manual on a 08 S197 have common issue like problems with shifting and stuff like this?

Is there any 6speed that is offered to work with the Mustang gt 2008?

 

I would check out this new Tremec 6-speed as it eliminates all the shifting issues associated with the externally mounted shifters like the normal GT 5-speed or the GT500 6-speed ( which can be retrofitted into a GT).

Do you have the new tremec or the t-5?

 

Neither as I am still running the stock 3650 5-speed

 

Oh I cee, hows the stock manual transmission, hard to shift at normal driving and maybe at wot as well? Becase there a totalled mustang that sells the trans,harnes,clutch,pedal assembly,pcm,harnes,flexplate,shifter for 1000$ but Im not sure I will like that transmission and maybe keeping the 1000 and save it up for a magnum

 

Save for the magnum, this trans is a piece of crap, mine went out at 40,000, but thousand is not bad for everything cause I don't know what you need with the magnum,

 

I guess magnum it is,wich aftermarket transmission would you go with for a automatic?
