What supercharger is this?
Hey Tom,
In the past 10 years I have put 2 superchargers on mustangs. One was a Vortech on a 93 GT and the other was a Kennebell on a 96 Cobra. All I can say is where go you want your grunt???? At the top end? Go Vortech. You want to feel it in your groin? Get twinscrewed!!!!!!

Hey Scott!
I just want a bunch more power, that allows me to keep my shaker, and doesn't cost an arm & leg. I likely would prefer a twin screw, but at the same time normal day to day driving seems like it would be easier with a centrifugal since the power doesn't come on till you start climbing into the RPM range. This may sound silly, but I kinda look at the two like the dirtbikes I used to ride- a twin screw is like a hipo 4 stroke, while a centri is like a tuned 2 stroke. The four stroke normally is more fun to drive and can be quick, but if you get the two stroke into it's powerband and keep it there- watch out!!!

Tom,
Remember Don W??? You can make the shaker work with a twinscrew. All I know is that a twinscrew is like adding 100 cubic inches to these little 281 cu. engines. This is what they need for a daily driver. I bet you don't drive to work at WOT everyday do you?? If so get the Vortech. Remember your right foot controls the power output.

Turbo!! That would be very cool. I have not had any personal experience with them but I know they can kick butt. Would you try the install yourself?
Scott
I would try the install myself, with guidance from Brenspeed; they're only an hour from me. Check out the customer's section of their website- there is a good variety of blowers, dynos, and a turbo or two with dyno sheets for each one. Some very awesome rides!! http://www.brenspeed.com
Happy Thanksgiving,
Tom
