the way i do it is i just go to red line and shift, but is there a better or proper way to do it??also when i take off i just floor it and dump the clutch...is that right 2?? thanks

 

Are you powershifting when you shift? Meaning, keeping the gas pedal pushed all the way in and shifting as fast as possible? If you're willing, that's the best way to shift when racing.

As far as reving and dumping the clutch at the start- as long as your tires don't go up in smoke then I guess you're ok.

 

the my best friends uncle does something with cars and he showed me some shifting stuff...he said if your all out just go redline to redline but he didnt say much abt the clutch dumping
