What clutch/flywheel to buy?

I have a 2007 Mustang GT with the stock TR-3650 and wanted to know my options for a flywheel/clutch combination that could handle a 500+ hp blower kit.

I hear some argue against a twin-disc because it is too expensive. I see that an Exedy Stage 4 twin disc kit is $1800 while a Stage 2 /hyper single is $1200. IMHO, a $600 difference is nothing for something that doesn't get changed as often. Any recommendations?

Also, how difficult is it to do this job in my own garage with ramps?

I got the Spec stage 3+ and Spec aluminum flywheel, holds HP andd TQ well but not too great if your car is a DD, can't slip the **** thing like the stock clutch in traffic

I read about the aluminum flywheels requiring more RPM during shifts due to the reduced mass. How is the Spec 3+ with a steel flywheel? What would happen if I went with a Spec twin-clutch and a steel flywheel? I know everyone keeps telling me it is overkill, but exactly what would happen in the car?
