what cams i need help!!!!

I have been debating between blowbyracing stage 1 or brenspeed Detroit rockers?. What would u guys recommend??

I have a 05 ft with pacesetter LTs, stock h pipe, Mac axlebaks, steeda underdrive pulleys, c&l cold air and also bbk TB.

What would be the best for my setup!!

What did you do to fit your LT's with your stock h-pipe?

I've heard good stuff about the Hot Rod cams. And I believe there are a number of tunes available from different companies.

I don't think anyone else provides the tunes for the Detroit Rockers but Brenspeed. I don't trust Brenspeed tunes. Problems with the 4.6 and problems with the 5.0. And they don't stand behind them.

I really like ***** Thmprs. Good HP gains and amazing sound! The idle is rough enough to slightly shake the car, perfect for me but may be a bit much for some.

FWIW the AM folks said on a DR thread that they support them with their email tunes and that it's simple for them to plug in.

I plan on getting dyno tuned once I get cams, and just using the email tune to get me there.

Do the mounts make it rock more or just vibrate?

Mainly the sound since those cams are mostly "sound cams"

Yea although I don't like to admit it, the performance gain hasn't been all that substantial at this point. Albeit I have very few supporting mods for any cams at the moment. They still have a decent lift and I think that there is potential to make some power given the proper forethought. In their defense the power that is gained is all in the top end, so your butt dyno may not "feel it."

With CNC'd heads you would see a bit more of a gain but at that point IMHO go big or go home lol. When I was going to do my Big Bore Stroker N/A 3V I was going with the 127650 cams from Comp but not everyone wants to deal with having to re-time their engine which is where the advantage of some of the NSR cams come in. You get a nice lopey idle with some decent power gains and something anyone can do in their garage in a few hours.

Yea once I get her paid off I'm going ***** out. I'm gonna yank the motor and send it to Express Engines in Deland, FL, which is right up the street from me. I'm gonna go as far as I can and stay NA. I'm thinking 323 stroker with the works. Or whatever they tell me is best. The build some really serious stuff there

I was going to go to JPC up in Maryland and have RGR build the motor since they are one of the top 3 modular builders in the country. Livernois was having trouble with the bronze guides in their stage 3 heads causing people to loose their motors and they were building the heads for FRPP and IIRC BBR so the JPC Stage 2 heads were the best ones I was able to find. Also with the Big Bore Stroker you would need the motor mount adapters and depending on if you wanted to run limiters you can't use the Melling High Output Oil pump as it doesn't have enough pressure to run the VCT so you could go with the FRPP which is the same as the oil pump in the GT500 and the GT but at a cheaper price tag and go get the TSS billet gears, forget the MMR cryo gears junk, they would break in the termis all the time and I don't know many people who have used them that have had their motors live through it. It is expensive but with what I was doing to it I was told that 450 HP would be possible since not a lot of people have gone all out on a N/A build. you could get 420HP in a glory run with an all out 302 stroker build with IMO around 400 HP as a low average.

For me my list was the

Boss 5.0 Block, forged bottom end for the amount of torque I would be pushing
JPC Stage 2 Heads
Comp 127650 with limiters
FRPP TB & Intake Manifold
ARH L/T w/ an O/R H-Pipe
