Well I'm proud to annouce that I ordered my mustang last thursday. Here's the specs:
Mustang GT
Premium Package
Shaker 1000
Upgraded wheels
IUP
I hope my wait won't be too long, but I've heard a lot of horror stories. Anyways I was thinking of some exhaust ideas and was curious how y'all thought JBA headers with an H pipe and Bassani axle back would sound. I used to own a 68 Camaro and I'd really like to hear my Mustang rumble like it did. Also, if I were to one day put a supercharger on it, would all warranty be lost?? What would happen to warranty if I changed exhaust?

Welcome to the board, Joe. Congratulations on your order. Yes it will be a while, but it will be worth it when the car arrives. You didn't mention what color.

A search will turn up most of this info, but I'll give you my take. Unless it can be shown that an aftermarket part that you put on your car caused a problem, then the dealer cannot deny you warranty coverage. Having said that, I am waiting until the warranty is up to add a supercharger, primarily because it effects so many things on the engine.

Does adding a supercharger typically mean the engine will go to s*it within a few years? I know I want to add one but I have heard that it kills the engine and significantly shorterns the life span

the reason SC engines seem to last a shorter period of time is the way they are driven, not the simple fact that they are SC. Higher compression is harder on an engine than atmospheric pressure so the more the loud peddel is pushed all the way in the more wear the engine has.
