Weird Bama Tune Issue

So I ordered an Xcal3 from American Muscle and received it yesterday. When I went to upload the Bama tunes into the car it threw a trouble code: P2107, and then wouldn't start. I tried to call Bama to fix this but they had a power outage today and were unable to help me. Does anyone know what this means and what I can do to fix it?

I heard of this problem on another forum. Re-flash back to stock and disconnect the battery if necessary. Hopfully Doug will get back to you soon.

Did you try to reload the tune? Don't bother calling American Muscle if you're looking for Doug.

Doug isn't tuning for AM anymore. It's Chris Rose and some other guys. You will probably never see another true BamaChips/Doug tune.

I was able to flash it back to stock with no problems, and I was even able to tune it using the sct strategy flashing to get me going for the time being. It was just weird that it threw a code like that and refused to start. I've used Doug's tunes in the past and also VMP's and have never had an issue like that.

Give me a call Monday morning and I'll get it straightened away for you. Just have your order number ready... I'll have to take a look at the files.

As for the information about Doug, he simply is part of time-to-time remote support. His files have been incoporated in with my own files and Mike Wilson's to create what I think is some of the best S197 tunes out there, hands down. We have improved on Dougs old files, my old files and Mikes by taking the bits and pieces that worked the best from each knowledge base.

I guarantee you'll like them just as much, if not better than old Tillman/Bama tunes.

Got it solved today. Talked to Ken at SCT and it turned out that they (Bama) needed the actual strategy of the vehicle, rather than the computer code. Gave them the code and they emailed me the updated tunes 20 min later. Loaded the street tune tonight and took it for a test drive and it drives great.

You might want to data log your tune so they can see exactly what's going on.

Worked with Tom Savage and got everything figured out. Great guy, very helpful, and now she runs like a champ!

I used one of bama tunes a few years back and my car just would not run right. It would go into failsafe mode and also throw a few other error codes. I would load up the stock tune and no error code what so ever, the car ran fine.

I'm sure he's a very capable tuner and has made plenty of people happy with his tunes but there's still that 01% that are not.
Unfortunately I never got a chance to let him know about the issue because he was away over a holiday when the issue occurred. I went with a different tuner at the time that was willing to overnight me a tune and completely forgot about it.
I'm sure that he would have resolved it if I could have established some kind of communication with him at the time.
My personal feedback.

I agree somethings wrong also. I purchased a 93 race tune for my 08 V6 . It made the transmission slip under part throttle at the 3-4 upshift. WOT it was great Second and thrid chirps gears . I went back and fouth multiple times with them to correct it. They did sent me different versions of the tune to fix it will no results. They told me the settings were at the max. They said there was nothing else they could do. Theres no way it was maxed out. My car has 30k on it theres nothing wrong with the transmission. The 93 canned tune shifted perfect at part throttle and WOT. They couldn't get that right with the race tune Come on!!! Your in the business of tuning cars and cant fix this!!!! I am very disapointed with Bama. I purchased the tume from them because they came highly reccomended. It seems to me they are afraid to turn things up with our cars. Afraid somethings going to blow up.
