Found a great deal on the new Vortech S-trim Supercharger kit for the 05 GT but the only thing keeping me from tearing my credit card out of my wallet and maxing the heck out of it is the thought that Ford would void my warranty because of the forced induction. Would it just be powertrain-related items or would the entire bumper-to-bumper coverage be void as well? Anyone with any experience?

Probably just powertrain, but I'm sure a dealership would give you one helluva time with ANY problem you might have with the car after you've made such a drastic modification under warranty. Dealers are always looking for an excuse not to do warranty work.

probably just powertrain. Buddy of mine had an 03 GT, only 5,000 miles, with a Vortech on his and he had the supercharger to the max boost and it blew the head gasket and cracked the manifold. Voided his warranty in a heartbeat!
